Over the past year and a half, the city and the Holiday Island Suburban Improvement District (HISID) have been working through a planning process to determine whether it would benefit residents and property owners for HISID to transition some or all of its services to the city.

This November, all six City Council positions as well as the Office of Mayor will be on the general election ballot.
