Your Voice Matters — Join the Conversation About Holiday Island’s Future

On Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Clubhouse Ballroom, Mayor Kees will present information and lead a community discussion on an important question: Should Holiday Island establish its own police department? Carroll County Sheriff Klatt will be providing his input at this meeting.
This is the second session in a series of meetings examining the future of Holiday Island and the potential phase-out of the Suburban Improvement District (SID). The decisions considered during these discussions could shape our community for years to come, affecting how essential services are provided, managed, and governed.
Whether you attended the first presentation or are joining the conversation for the first time, your participation is important. An informed and engaged community helps ensure that future decisions reflect the needs and priorities of Holiday Island residents.
Come learn about the issues, ask questions, share your perspective, and help shape the future of our community.
Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 9:00 A.M. in the Clubhouse Ballroom - We encourage every resident to attend and be part of this important community discussion!
