The ordinances posted here are not law yet. They are in the process of being reviewed in public during regular or special meetings of the City Council, and changes may be made during this process. Public input is encouraged. Once passed they will become law.

Click link above to see list of any pending ordinances under review by City Council. Occasionally, an ordinance is passed with an emergency clause, which requires only a single reading. Normally ordinances must be read and passed 3 times at 3 different meetings in order to go into effect.
