Code Enforcement / Animal Control Officer

The Code Enforcement Officer will be responsible for enforcing the ordinances for the city including solid waste and nuisance abatement ordinances, certain sections of the zoning regulations, and animal control.

Candidate for this position must be knowledgeable of the applicable municipal codes and be able to work cooperatively with the public to resolve violations.

Position interfaces with the City Prosecuting attorney and District Court.

This is a full time position reporting to the mayor.

Prior code or law enforcement experience a plus.

You do not have to be a resident of Holiday Island to apply.
